The United Kingdom & European Association for Psychotherapeutic Counselling (UKEAPC) was founded in 1996 and is an accrediting organisation that regulates and monitors the standards of training and  quality of delivery of its Member Training Organisations. UKEAPC has an established federal structure  where each full member organisation has equality of status and representation.

Mission Statement

Principles

The United Kingdom & European Association for Psychotherapeutic Counselling represents only  training organisations that meet the highest standards of training and ethics required of psychotherapeutic counselling education in the United Kingdom and Europe. Quality of service delivery and  commitment to best practice are essential aspirations of all member training organisations.

UKEAPC therefore encourages applications from training organisations, large or small, located in the private sector or university, that  seek accreditation of their counselling programmes at post graduate level or equivalent.

Member Organisations encourage equality of opportunity and anti-oppressive practice according to UKEAPC Guidelines.

Member Organisation will be founded in a written constitution, or its equivalent,   compatible with the UKEAPC Regulatory Framework.
